The Adaptive Ski Program does a background check on all ASP volunteers. We only check info available to the public.

Please indicate your first & second choices

New volunteers are required to attend 4 days of training during the first two weekends in January

Volunteers must commit to all the program days for their teaching day.
If you have a conflict during the season and will be absent, please contact your Mountain Coordinator before the start of training.

Please note that due to a limited inventory of jackets we cannot guarantee availability of your first choice. We will make every effort to find the best size for you. All jackets are in men’s sizes and will be issued at the end of the second weekend of training.

As a trained ASP volunteer instructor, you are coved under a liability insurance policy while participating in any ASP training or teaching activity. However, ASP has no personal injury or worker’s compensation for volunteers.

Volunteers are responsible for their own personal injury insurance.

When submitting this application please complete the waiver of liability by signing in both places (in
blue or black ink) and returning with the application. If you do not want the ASP to use any photos,
video, and or film of you please indicate “no” on the waiver – do not leave blank.
